At 9:32 a.m. Saturday, a man and woman were shot once in the head in a strip mall on the 1000 block of East Capitol Expressway. They were pronounced dead at the scene. Also, police found a 17-month-old child, who was not injured, in a nearby vehicle believed to belong to one of the deceased.
